⚠️ Safety Instructions
Intended Use
- The Rain Cover Lock is designed exclusively for securing the original rain cover on the Urban Arrow FamilyNext.
Before Every Ride
- Make sure the key is removed from the lock before riding.
- We recommend attaching the key to your bike key to avoid leaving it in the lock.
- Depending on the handlebar position, the handlebars, cables or bell may come into contact with the rain cover. When the rain cover is secured with the lock, it has less freedom to move.
- Before riding, check while the bicycle is stationary that the handlebars can turn freely to the left and right. If the rain cover restricts steering movement, adjust the handlebar position or the position of the bell in accordance with the bicycle manufacturer's instructions. Only ride when the handlebars can move freely.
- We recommend removing the shackle while riding. This also reduces the risk of children hitting their heads against the shackle.
- Only use the product when all components are correctly installed.
Damage & Replacement
- Do not use the product if any part is broken, bent, deformed, or missing.
- Only use original Studio Vollebak replacement parts.
💡 Tip
Attach the Rain Cover Lock key to your bike key so it is always within reach. Store the spare key at home in a safe place.
🧽 Maintenance
- Clean the Rain Cover Lock regularly with a damp cloth.
- Dry the product with a soft cloth after cleaning.
- Use lock spray when the lock becomes difficult to open or close, or when the key does not turn smoothly.
