The BuggyFix was developed to let you carry your stroller on your bicycle easily and securely. Whether you ride a regular bicycle, an e-bike or a cargo bike, its universal design allows you to transport your stroller safely and conveniently on the rear rack.
The integrated side plate supports the stroller, keeps it at a safe distance from the bicycle and protects it from splashes of dirt. The BuggyFix positions the stroller far enough back on the rear rack to give you complete freedom of movement while pedalling.
The BuggyFix can remain attached to your bicycle when you are riding without your stroller. Want to remove it temporarily? It clicks off in one simple movement. Prefer to leave it on your bicycle? You can lock the BuggyFix using the key provided.
At the bottom of this page, you will find a comprehensive FAQ with more information about suitable strollers, installation, compatibility and choosing the right BuggyFix option.
Suitable for virtually any bicycle
The BuggyFix uses the MIK system and fits directly onto any rear rack with a MIK profile. Does your bicycle have a different type of rear rack? The optional MIK adapter allows you to use the BuggyFix with virtually any other suitable rear rack.
The BuggyFix comes with all the necessary mounting hardware and rubber spacers to protect your bicycle and stroller. Installation is simple: within just a few minutes, you’ll be ready to set off with your stroller.

Frequently asked questions about the BuggyFix
Will the BuggyFix fit my bicycle?
The BuggyFix is suitable for virtually any bicycle with an appropriate rear rack, including regular bicycles, e-bikes and cargo bikes. Does your rear rack have a MIK profile? If so, the BuggyFix will fit directly onto it. Do you have a standard rear rack without a MIK profile? In most cases, you can use the BuggyFix with the optional MIK adapter.
Which BuggyFix option do I need?
The correct option depends on the type of rear rack fitted to your bicycle:
- MIK rear rack: Choose this option if your rear rack already has an integrated MIK profile. The BuggyFix fits directly onto it, so you do not need an additional adapter.
- Standard rear rack: Choose this option if your rear rack does not have a MIK profile. This version includes a MIK adapter, allowing you to use the BuggyFix with virtually any suitable rear rack.
How do I know whether my rear rack has a MIK profile?
A MIK rear rack has an integrated MIK profile onto which accessories with a MIK adapter plate can be clicked directly. Our page about MIK rear racks shows you how to recognise a MIK rear rack.
Can I use the BuggyFix if my bicycle does not have a MIK rear rack?
Yes. The optional MIK adapter allows you to make a standard rear rack compatible with the BuggyFix. A MIK adapter plate fits rear racks with a tube diameter of 8 to 16 mm and an external width of 100 to 170 mm.
Which strollers fit the BuggyFix?
The BuggyFix is suitable for almost all compact strollers with a single, continuous push bar. The stroller must have a folding release button in the centre of the push bar. The push bar must also be straight or slightly curved. Strollers with a fully rounded push bar are not suitable.

Can I install the BuggyFix myself?
Yes. Do you have a suitable MIK rear rack? If so, no installation is required: the BuggyFix is ready to use straight out of the box and clicks into place in just one second.
Do you have a rear rack without a MIK profile? First install the MIK adapter on your rear rack. You can then click the BuggyFix into place in one simple movement.
Can I use a rear-mounted child seat when the BuggyFix is installed?
No. The BuggyFix and a child seat cannot be used on the rear rack at the same time. If you want to use a rear-mounted child seat, you must first remove the BuggyFix from the rear rack.
Can the BuggyFix remain on my bicycle when I am not carrying a stroller?
Yes, the BuggyFix can remain attached to your bicycle when you are riding without a stroller. It is designed so that it does not get in the way while cycling.
Can I remove the BuggyFix easily?
Yes. If you want to remove the BuggyFix from your bicycle temporarily, you can release it from the MIK profile in one simple movement. This makes it easy to remove whenever you do not need it.
Can I lock the BuggyFix?
Yes. You can lock the BuggyFix onto the rear rack using the key provided. This allows you to leave it on your bicycle with peace of mind.
Will a twin stroller fit the BuggyFix?
No, a twin stroller is too wide for the BuggyFix. The system is designed for one stroller, which is carried on one side of the bicycle. It is not possible to install two BuggyFix units on the same bicycle at the same time.
